Conan: So after Smallville you didn’t get picked up to be the Green Arrow.
Justin: It’s not so much that I wasn’t picked up. I got involved in another series right away and I couldn’t do it.
Conan: Is that one with the magic and explosions scary monsters that’s based on my love life?
(Fanfare from the band)
Justin: No… but I’ve heard that about you. It’s a rumor around the industry.
Conan: Lies! Well….(turns to look straight into the camera to more fanfare). But anyway, you’re on this new show: Adventures in the 13th age. When exactly is the 13th age?
Justin: I, uh, No one really knows. If you knew the mystique would be gone.
Conan: Also like my love life! (laughter all around) Anyway. Anyway. You play a elf named Vessel?
Justin: I do. He’s a fun character. Generally happy, but still complicated. You don’t see that too often. Anyway, he’s got kindof a Jason Bourne thing going on. He woke up not knowing who he is, but he still has access to all of these skills that he picked up along the way. Then he met up with this god that convinced him that all the others are fake and seems to have the necessary power to prove it.
Conan: Sounds like a great guy!
Justin: He is. He is.. but even though he has no clue what his past is, it keeps finding him in unexpected ways. All these people seem to know his former self. Everyone except him it seems. I think you’ll see it really start to get to him.
Conan: I’ve seen the first three episodes and it’s great fun. Where can someone watch it?
Justin: It’s on Tuesday Nights at 9.
Conan: Always a pleasure. Justin Hartley everyone! Coming up after the break we’ve got Music by Shaking Dogs and Shocking Pigs. You don’t want to miss it.
